Where the Sidewalk Ends

Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black

And the dark street winds and bends.

Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow

We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,

And watch where the chalk-white arrows go

To the place where the sidewalk ends.

Being based in Downtown Los Angeles, we are constantly inspired by the contrasting textures, unusual color palettes, and various architectural styles.  The topography of the city changes dramatically in all directions. Compelled by the idea of navigation, we were interested to see how the clothing interacted with the graphic backdrops of the ever-changing landscape.
